New England Design Hall of Fame

Congratulations to David Hacin who was recently inducted by New England Home Magazine into their Design Hall of Fame! Membership in the New England Design Hall of Fame is awarded to individuals whose "work, influence, and community involvement" have led to a significant, impactful design career here in New England. 

The induction ceremony was a gala event held in the fabulous State Room with breathtaking nighttime views of the city. The entire H+A team was thrilled to be there while David received this honor. David made his 'Jumbotron debut,' giving a short speech on the importance of collaboration in design and expressing his gratitude for all of the support he has received along the way.

Additionally, David was recently named one of the 25 Most Stylish Bostonians by The Boston Globe. Check out the Globe's interview with David where he relates his approach to architecture with his personal style. H+A would also like to congratulate our fabulous friend and client Willa Bodman, who was also selected as one of the 25 Most Stylish Bostonians!



For he's a jolly good fellow: David Hacin FAIA

H+A is very pleased to announce that the American Institute of Architects has elevated David Hacin to its College of Fellows in the category of Design. The designation [FAIA] is given to architects to recognize their significant contribution to the profession.

According to the AIA, “advancement to fellowship is one of the highest honors the American Institute of Architects can bestow upon a member. Elevation to the fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual but also elevates before the public and the profession a model architect who has made a significant contribution to architecture and society.” Congratulations David!

This is the third consecutive year that Boston Home has recognized H+A in this program, as 'Best Contemporary Architect' in 2009, and for 'Best Architectural Interiors' in 2008.
